Perdi mi dinero miserablemente !!!!!!
La dueña parece amigable, pero fui a rectificar mi medición hecha hace un mes y salí más confundida que como llegué. Al final me dieron otra medida completamente diferente y no estoy segura de que sea la que yo realmente llevo para leer. No estoy conforme, pero no discutí más el resultado me di cuenta de que la dueña empezó a mostrarse molesta ante mís dudas. Salí de la oficina con dolor de cabeza u dolor en el ojo derecho, pues en una de las pruebas parece que la luz que debian darme al ojo estaba mal regulada y fue demasiado, tanto que aun no veo bien de ese ojo. Pade mucho estrés después de una confusa e incómoda experiencia que no me resolvió nada y me costó dinero.
PS: ud no hizo nada excepcional dedicando tiempo extra, es su trabajo explicarle a sus clientes las dudas que tenga sobre el trabajo que ud realiza, pues para ello yo acudí a su tienda, es parte de la ética profesional. Tuve que estar de pie al final comprobando si veía con la medición para leer, por lo que entendí que ya estaba de más. Al final me hizo sentir que el hecho de que yo quisiera tener correcta mi medida de visión, para lo que había ido ahí, era un problema. Además si tuvo que explicar varias veces, se debe en principio a que inicialmente me dijo que yo solo necesitaba espejuelos para ver de lejos y eso es totalmente incorrecto. Después cuando el doctor mandó la receta de leer, efectivamente es lo que necesito, pero esa medición no está correcta, pues la máquina con que se me midió tenía los cristales borrosos y al final dudo que esa medida esté correcta. Al final nunca pide comprobarlo pues estuve de pie mirando a lo lejos cuando yo fui ahí para rectificar y medir mi visión para leer. Muy triste que esto suceda. Pero finalmente me dijo que me ayudaría, y lo que me hizo fue perder mi tiempo y mi dinero. Me sentí bien estúpida y que estaba molestando.

I took my daughter to two other eye doctors and had such a bad experience. Conway Optical and Carla came highly recommended, so I went there and omg what an amazing experience!!! She gave my daughter her contacts same day! Now my whole family is going there and I look forward to it every time. So personable and makes you feel like family, and explains everything so thoroughly. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Conway Optical since they have been open and have received awesome service every time. Carla takes the time to explain all aspects relating to your visit. She doesn't push any particular frame, and will provide her opinion regarding your selection when asked. She will also let you know if the frames you have chosen will go well with the lenses that will be made for your power of prescription. If you take her advice, you will be extremely satisfied with your purchase.

I scheduled an appointment for a routine eye exam and arrived at the office only to realize it wasn't your typical optometrist's office. Instead of seeing an eye doctor in person, I was informed that the appointment would be conducted virtually. This was a significant departure from what I expected, and I believe it should have been clarified when I made the appointment.
Despite the unconventional setup, I proceeded with the eye exam, which, although different, seemed adequate. Afterwards, I decided to browse for glasses. Typically, I purchase my glasses online due to the cost savings, especially for my strong prescription. However, I wanted to utilize my insurance coverage for a pair of prescription sunglasses, which my usual online vendor doesn't offer.

During the selection process, I was aware that my prescription necessitated high index lenses to reduce thickness. However, when I received the glasses, they had standard lenses that made them look excessively thick and unattractive. Despite being charged for high index lenses according to my receipt, I was disappointed to find otherwise. When I raised this concern, I was told we had discussed it, which wasn't the case. I wouldn't have agreed to such glasses had I been informed accurately.

Furthermore, I was denied access to my PD (pupillary distance) under a dubious legal pretext by Carla. While other legitimate eye doctors readily provided this information, Carla's refusal seemed motivated by a desire to monopolize my eyewear purchases and charge exorbitant prices. This left me feeling deceived not only by the absence of an onsite eye doctor but also by the subpar quality of the glasses I received.

Additionally, the office's limited operating hours, only open one Saturday a month until 12pm and M-T 9am - 5pm, pose a significant inconvenience for those with standard 8-5 work schedules. Having to coordinate glasses pickup solely according to Carla's availability is impractical and frustrating.
Overall, I'm deeply disappointed with the level of service I received.

Conway Optical is the best! I love the one on one service and the one patient at a time philosophy. I am on my 12th pair from them! The prices are great, the frame selection remarkable and Carla explains every facet of your appointment clearly and professionally. I would not go anywhere else!!

I was way over due for new glasses as I work on the computer daily. I walked in at my appointment time and was greeted promptly and with a smile. She went through the whole process of how the appointment would work and was super patient with some of the procedures as my eyes are extremely sensitive. She was great with all my questions and beyond patient with me trying on over 50 frames to pick the right ones! Will not go anywhere else for my frames?

I've been going to Costco for glasses for 30 years and always thought I was getting the best value for my money. WRONG!! I finally went to see Carla at Conway Optical because I read such glowing reviews about her service, and let me tell you, they're well deserved! Costco couldn't make my high cylinder prescription, and I was convinced that I would pay $700 or $800 for a pair. I went to visit Carla, and she was able to make my prescription, and she had a great selection of frames at really reasonable prices. I don't have to peek over the top of my glasses, or underneath them to see small things. For the first time in years, I can see everything, and I have stylish glasses that I just love! Thank you, Carla!
