We have used St. Pete Modern Optics for our daughters glasses since she was 18 months and have always been so happy with the service, selection, and fit! Not all places are properly equipped to handle fitting of children- but St. Pete Modern Optics is amazing with kids! Highly recommend!

This shop is the real deal. The frames are incredible. I immediately thought I was in Europe because the styles are so modern and cutting edge. Right next to an avant garde style you have the classic vintage Sophia Loren frame. And everything in between. Owner and sales person extraordinaire, Chuck's product knowledge is on point. If you love eyewear as much as I do, and especially if you are a performer or artist, you will be in heaven. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FRAMES. Not inexpensive but ENTIRELY worth the investment.

We had a wonderful experience with Chuck. He truly is a specialist with his knowledge and soft touch. He helped my 4 year old daughter to feel comfortable and confident when picking and sizing her glasses. He was very thorough, and patient. We made the trip from Plant City to St.Pete because I have heard so many good things about Modern Optics and I am so glad we did. Highly recommend you check this place out!

Wonderful experience! Chuck, the owner, helped me find the perfect custom frames for my face! After we figured out the right shape and size that fit my style, I had hundreds of color and patterns to choose from. He helped me with that choice too by making suggestion based on my skin’s undertones. Im obsessed with my new frames 🙂 thanks Chuck!

I went to Modern Optics because of the reviews and I'm so glad I did. There is a wide range of styles and tech in this little shop and Chuck, the owner, couldn't be nicer or more helpful and accommodating. This is the only place I will go to when it is time to replace these frames, on which, by the way, I get nearly daily compliments. Thank you Chuck for your expertise and courtesy.

What a fantastic eyeglass shop! The owner, Chuck, worked patiently with me to pick out just the right pair of fun, modern frames for my small face. At first I was overwhelmed by all of the choices but Chuck expertly guided me to the right choice. It took me a little time to get used to the new look but I've received tons of compliments already. There is also a large selection of cool, unique sunglasses so I'll be going back soon for another pair of those.
