I would like to thank Dr. Gibbons and her staff for the exceptional care that they provided. I was experiencing pain in my eye due to a medical issue, and they welcomed me with genuine warmth. From the moment I walked in, the staff was courteous and patient. Everyone went above and beyond to help me. It is so hard to find doctors, across all disciplines, who truly take the time to listen and care for their patients. Major thanks to Dr. Gibbons and staff.

Dr Mackinder is one of the best doctors ive seen in over 20 years. He is super honest and very nice. He came highly recommended for specialty lens fitting. I will def recommend him to my family and friends. Also a big thanks to the saff there for being so nice and helpful. Justin was the best.

I got the coolest glasses at Eyes and Optics a few months ago. I decided to also get contacts for the first time. I actually live in Baldwin Park, but I liked the experience at Eyes and Optics so I went there. Dr. Gibbons did a thorough exam, explaining what she saw and answering my questions. Then Justin taught me how to put in contacts and take them out. He was so patient and made it fun. Everyone there is professional, caring, and I love walking out seeing so clearly and feeling good.

Had a new patient appointment with Dr. Mackinder for my eyes. Went in for my yearly eye check up, but unfortunately had a flareup of a recurring uveitis and my appointment turned into an office eye medical . I just want to say that doctor Mackinder was absolutely amazing. Super informative and immediately referred me over to an eye specialist for some medical issues I have with my eyes. His staff and assistant was so helpful, friendly and professional. I would totally recommend anyone to visit this office. Doctor made sure that my concerns with my eye health are being met. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve met such a helpful, caring doctor that truly cares for my eye health and vision. He was super patient with me didn’t rush me through the visit and truly met all of my concerns so glad I came here.

I’ve been going to Dr. Lisa Gibbons for about 20 years and highly recommend her. She has treated me for two minor eye injuries and always cares enough to follow up intently and always takes care of my changing contact needs and dry eye issues.

It had been four years since my last eye exam for glasses and contacts, and my previous optometrist of 15 years had decided to relax and enjoy life (good for her!), so it was time to find a new doctor. My neighbor had been going to Eyes & Optics for some time and suggested that I try them out. I'm SO glad that I did as I enjoy the location, the store is very modern, and most of all, my visit with Dr. Lisa Gibbons was outstanding. My previous optometrist set the bar very high, and I miss her dearly, but Dr. Gibbons filled that void quickly. Dr. Gibbons is amiable and knowledgable, and my new prescription for both glasses and contacts are fantastic! I couldn't ask for a better optometrist, and I hope she doesn't decide to start her retirement soon *smile*. Afterward, my help with choosing the right pair of frames was a delight as well. The gentleman that assisted was very patient and attentive with all my requests and concerns. He was especially helpful once my new glasses arrived as I got overly worried about the quality of the lenses as something didn't feel right. The crew in the store put up with all my questions and fears in a stellar manner, and I can't thank them enough for relaying all the changes between my old glasses and new (I'm so sorry for being a poop!). They were exactly right, and after wearing them for just a couple of days, I love them! If you're looking for a one-stop-shop for a new prescription and glasses, please give Eyes & Optics a shot.

Justin was very courteous and prompt when ordering my new glasses. The experience I had was incredible compared to other vision stores I’ve dealt with in the past. I would definitely recommend eyes & optics to anyone!
