Customer service is five out of five. I’ve had their products for over seven years. When it’s time for a battery replacement or an upgrade in the lens or binoculars, they get right on it and produce the results with a high level of satisfaction. Great company!

Dr. Ray Nguyen was very accommodating in replacing my loupes when they were lost in transit and sending me a replacement set. I highly recommend Snapon Optics to anyone looking for good and reasonably priced loupes and lights! I love their magnetic light attachment and use their light on my other loupes.

I have been using Snap On Optics loops and lights for Over the last eight years, I have always been extremely satisfied with the product. But I can’t say enough about the customer service. I have used traditional loops, and a corded light. About two years ago, I started using the ergonomic loop with a cordless light it has changed everything. I have no more neck or shoulder pain and I have a lot less eye strain. And I love not getting caught up in that cord! Ray and his team have always provided top-notch customer service. I love seeing their friendly faces whenever they’re in town at the southwest dental conference in Texas. And I get a quick response anytime I’ve ever needed any warranty for any of my products. I recommend Snap On loops to every dental hygienist I can! It’s a great product very affordable compared to some of the other brands. and by a far better customer service!

What a really bad service I purchase a lupes with prescription 2 and 1/2 months ago y still don’t have them… it’s ridiculous the waiting time. They offer payment on quotes on your credit card… so I guess they wait until the full payment it’s done to send it to you.

POOR QUALITY PRODUCT.
I have been a customer of Snap On Optics for at least 6 years. Previously, I was pleased with the quality and service from Snap On Optics. However, the loupe light that I purchased less than 3 years ago is of poor quality. With normal use, the power cord is parting in 2 places (see photos). Failure is imminent. The light has been well cared for, placed in a protective case when not in use and has not been subject to any external damage. Therefore, one must conclude that the power cord failure is due to low quality materials or an inherent design failure.

I notified Snap On Optics customer service of the issue. The take away from the conversation is that Snap On Optics is comfortable that their $620 light has a 3 year life expectancy.

I will not buy any more products from Snap On Optics.

The owner replied and apparently put as much care in reading my review as his company does in making his products - the loupe light cord failed in LESS THAN 3 YEARS. (6 years ago I made my first purchase)

I was switching from 12 years with my q-optics to the ergo loupes. I choose Snap On Optics because they were lighter than the other models I looked at, they have a 45 day trial period with no re-stocking fee, and I live close enough to come in for adjustments as needed. It took 12 weeks to make, I had a prescription put in, and I ordered the corded light. I did go in for 2 adjustments, and it made a difference. I was so glad that I was able to do that in person. Ray was able to make some other adjustments so that I could use my lumident cordless light and their corded light with the same attachment. That was so helpful and much appreciated. I've been using them for almost 4 months, and the comfort in my neck was immediately noticeable. It did take some getting used to since I had used my other loupes for so long, and I do need to clean them more often than my previous loupes. If they feel out of focus for me, I start by cleaning the lenses and that has worked every time. Customer service was great, I would recommend this company.

Great company!!
I purchased my ergonomic loupes from them last year, great loupes, helped a ton with my posture and neck pain. Expanded field vision though the loupes even with 5x magnification
Outstanding customer services. My light cord went out for some reason and they sent me a new one right away with free of charge.
Would highly recommend them!

I recently went to the Sironaworld convention looking for higher mag loupes after feeling like stepping up from 2.5x. I had actually never heard of Snap on Optics before and tried their 4x loupe. Although the TTL loupes they demoed didn't fit me perfectly, what I could see looked amazing. So I ordered a pair. I tried several loupes from various venders, and the Snap on Optics image through the loupes in my opinion was the best, as the view through the loupes just appeared crisper. The owner, Ray, was there, and he also said that the glass was from Japan, which I like, and the overall quality just felt nice.

Ray expedited the loupes to me, and my first set I felt the declination angle wasn't enough, and they felt heavy. I told him my concerns over the phone, shipped them back, and within two weeks of shipping that pair back, he made a new pair for me with a different frame and lighter telescopes at the same 4x. Once properly fitted, the view was very nice --no shadows, abberations, strange reflections. Just a perfectly round, bright, high mag view. Really though, these quality 4x telescopes combined with the light are incredible! I tell my staff it's like looking at that 85" 4K TV at Costco, that's the kind of view this gives. I'm seeing details on my restorative that honestly just aren't visible with my 2.5x loupes. Maybe the 4x isn't necessary and I probably won't use them for all procedures (i.e. extractions, implants) but I'm really enjoying them for restorative and endo so far, and the view is stunning.

The light is the brightest one I have seen, and does not feel heavy for how powerful it is. My old light was a Lumadent, which I like. Comparing the two, the lumadent has a better composite filter because of the magnet that makes it so easy to flip, but snap on optics is much brighter, which is nice for such a high mag loupe. Overall this 4x setup with the light feels lighter than my 2.5x flip up Heines that I've been using. I think they look good too.

After receiving and using my final set of loupes and light, I just feel like Ray went above and beyond to get it spot on for me. I hope to enjoy these loupes and light for years. I wrote this review because I read some negative reviews on google, and personally I feel like they are an honest company, run by a dentist that understands loupes and makes loupes and lights of the highest quality so I wanted to let others know.

----update 9 months later----
I still love these loupes, but they are currently in repair and I feel their customer service has been somewhat poor through the repair process. Still love the quality of the optics and the light (besides the telescope falling out), still think Ray is great, still giving them five stars, but this most recent experience makes me wonder if they can compete with the bigger brands on customer service which includes having someone professional answering the phones,, and communicating professionally and completing warranty repairs in a timely manner. Seems like they're just wingin' it on these fronts.
